Pinch Mobile has recently completed a mobile website build for one of Queenstown’s most iconic pizza restaurants, Winnie’s.
The next obvious step was a QR code campaign to capitalize on this new marketing medium that they had at their disposal. Keeping it simple for the first campaign, we decided that it would be great for customers getting a takeaway could save the menu to their phone.
So a QR code was added to the menu on every box that now goes out the door. Once you scan the code you are taken directly to their mobile homepage where the menu is available. QR code usage is relatively low in New Zealand, but we hope with more education and exposure they will become part of all business’s marketing strategy.
